RESI and BSF
At the center of the DAAD-funded university cooperation is the concern to support the University of Mosul in times of crisis to ensure international connectivity in teaching and research, to develop strategies for the time after the crisis and to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and networking in order to create conditions for the development of a longer-term partnership. At the center of the measures is the partnership orientation and preparation of an interdisciplinary Summer and Winter School to be held in Iraq. The academic events are primarily aimed at students in the following fields of study: economics, architecture, physics, chemistry, education and psychology.
In addition, a transnational student and academic exchange between the two universities is being sought within the framework of the "Building a sustainable Future" project, which is also funded by the DAAD. This is mainly done by awarding scholarships and by involving Iraqi students and scientists in research and teaching projects at the TU Dortmund.
