Impact regulation and landscape planning in the Federal Nature Conservation Act after the federalism reform
The reform of federalism that came into force on September 1, 2006, and the associated transfer of the previous framework legislation in the field of nature conservation and landscape management to concurrent legislation, has resulted in a new regulatory competence for the federal government. Against this background, the Federal Government intends to completely amend the Federal Nature Conservation Act during the current legislative period.
The research project serves the technical preparation of this amendment in the areas of impact regulation and landscape planning. Core elements are the analysis of the previous state nature conservation laws, the evaluation of the expert discussion as well as the draft of different variants of a future federal full regulation.
